We respect your right to control your data. If you wish to delete your SplitBro account and all associated data, you may do so by following the steps below. This process acts as a request to permanently remove your information from our systems.
Warning
This action is irreversible. Deleting your account will remove:
- Your personal profile information (Name, Email).
- All groups you are a member of (you will be removed).
- Your transaction history and expense records.
Please ensure you have settled all debts before proceeding.
How to Request Deletion

Method 1: Via Email
Send an email to our support team with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
Please send the email from the same email address associated with your SplitBro account so we can verify ownership.

Method 2: In-App
You can also delete your account directly from within the app:
- Open SplitBro on your device.
- Navigate to Account or Settings.
- Tap on Delete Account.
- Confirm the action.
Data Retention
Once we receive your verified request, your account will be scheduled for deletion. We will permanently delete your personal data and transaction history from our active databases within 30 days. Some data may remain in our backup archives for legal or regulatory purposes for a limited time.
